Hey Jammers! Oh my! Scammers? Yes, people who "steal" and "take" other Jammers items. Why do they do it? No one knows, but here are some Scammer techniques to watch out for!
Attention:
Ok, It has been brought to my attention that the person who hacked me hacked my parent account and has the membership on renew. Please do not send HorsesAreSoAwesome items.
"Send me gifts, it's my birthday!"
Do not send any gifts. They may be lying. But whatever you do, do not send any gifts to that Jammer. Unless they are your friend and your trust them, or you know some one that plays Animal Jam and it is their birthday.
"I decline all trades, try me!"
Do not trade them. Even if they act like they are truly being honest do not. Just when you trade them a good item they will accept! AJHQ kind of fixed this problem. After you trade them you can quickly change your mind because the link to accept the trade will only show up after 5 seconds. So you have a quick chance before they accept!
"Whoever sends/trades best item wins _ _ _ _ _ _."
Do not send or trade them! After you trade them something good they will leave without letting you talk to them. Also if you send them something good they will just leave and you'll never see your item again.
"Flash me, see if I accept!"
Do not flash them! If they accept you may never see your item again. If you truly trust your friend, then maybe. AJHQ fixed the problem so Jammers cannot accept till after 5 seconds. Which helps Jammers a lot!
"Come to my den for membership code!"
Do not go to their den. They will ask for items and when you give them items they will not give them back. If you really want membership that bad, don't take any chances. You can buy membership codes at Target, Walmart, Safeway, etc.
"I'm poor, please send me items!"
Do not send them any items. First take a look at their trade, then their animals. You can find out a lot if you do. If your friend got hacked or was poor, I guess you could send them items, but you can get gems easily.
"Send me items, I will send better back!"
Do not send them anything. After you send them something good, they will not send anything back and leave. They will ignore your Jam-A-Grams and probably block you.
Someone trades you a very good item for a item that is not as good.
Do not accept. I have been scammed like this before. They trade you like freedom wings, nm glove and a beta den item for a nm bow do not accept. It is probably a scam. When you accept the items randomly change to music or a pillow.
"I am quitting AJ, trade me for my items!"
Do not trade them. If they are quitting Animal Jam, why do you need to trade them? Just don't do it please for my sake.
Remember: Be a Jammer, not a Scammer!
